Junior Fund Officer

We are looking for a Junior Fund Officer, for a human-sized investment company, willing to strengthen their team and the activities of their holding structures in Luxembourg.

This role would suit a highly-motivated individual with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Being involved in all aspects of real estate and private equity fund administration and coordination of company secretarial duties.
  • Client relationships and administration.
  • Carrying out the day to day administration of real estate and private equity funds, which are typically limited partnerships, and subsidiary SPVs.
  • Real estate and private equity transaction-related administration.
  • Coordinating the initial secretarial and regulatory needs of clients.
  • The creation and maintenance of statutory registers and investor related documentation, assisting with calls and distributions, creating and maintaining own records of a portfolio of clients;
  • billing and cash collection.

  • Become familiar with the Luxembourg legal and regulatory regime applicable to funds and investment structure
  • Assist all cash movements within the perpetual fund structure to ensure appropriate and timely funding in relation to : acquisitions, capital expenditures, working capital requirement.
  • Do the quarterly cash repatriation process, duly considering all inherent constraints : cash requirements, senior loan waterfalls, tax and legal requirements.
  • Provide Portfolio and Asset Managers with relevant information / reports / KPIs to support decision making.
  • Keep up-to-date the intercompany balances schedule, including accrued interest calculations and providing local accountants with reporting instructions.
  • Preparation of financial reporting’s, cash flow statements etc.
  • Monitor the debt reporting obligations for all investments in the fund, calculate financial covenants and manage the relationships with local lenders / banks.
  • Your profile :

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in PERE
  • Financial / analytical skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Legal, audit and clients management experience
  • Versatile, dynamic and motivated character with good inter-personal skills
  • PERE knowledge
  • Cash and treasury management
