Fund Risk Officer (m / f)
ING Solutions Investment Management (ISIM) is looking for a Fund Risk Officer to support the current and planned developments of its activities in Luxembourg.
ISIM is a subsidiary of ING Luxembourg. ISIM benefits from the status of a Super ManCo as it has the licenses to manage both UCITS and Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).
ISIM oversees Investment Funds distributed by ING Group entities.
Launched in 2014, ISIM is the ManCo of ING Group and is pursuing its development as a key tool for Investment Fund solutions within ING Group offering Luxembourg and foreign funds.
Job description :
As a Fund Risk Officer, you will actively contribute to the roles and responsibilities of the Risk Management (RM) function.
As part of the Risk Management team, you will perform the following tasks :
Risk management process
Assist in the definition, review and documentation of the risk management process, policy, procedures and approaches;
Risk identification, assessment and control measures
Contribute to the risk identification and define the risk profile and limit system of each managed UCITS / AIF;
Perform adequate risk assessments, with regard to any specific request, project or event;
Define remediating actions and / or implement new control measures as needed.
Risk measurement and monitoring
Calculate and monitor risk metrics of UCITS / AIF;
Define and implement adequate stress testing;
Review NAV reports on a regular basis to monitor fund activity and identify any unusual item;
Perform any other risk analysis and monitoring as needed.
Investment restriction monitoring
Review investment restriction control reports and escalate to the Conducting Officer in charge of the RM function when needed;
Perform investment eligibility check when requested.
Prepare reports to the Senior Mgt / Board on current level of risk incurred by each managed UCITS / AIF and any actual or foreseeable breaches of their limits;
Prepare regulatory reporting in relation with risk aspects.
Management of new projects, products and risk management arrangements / techniques
Review and analyse new projects / products / investor documents from a risk perspective;
Develop and / or implement new risk management arrangements and / or techniques in order to improve the risk management process.
Oversight of delegates
Support and / or provide input to the oversight functions to perform adequate due diligences on delegates;
Attend monthly meeting with delegates (investment managers, fund administrators) as needed.

Your profile :
Knowledge and experience :
Master in economics / finance / mathematics or equivalent
At least 1 or 2 years’ experience in the fund industry, ideally in risk management, depositary bank and / or audit of funds
Very good quantitative and analytical skills
Good knowledge of financial markets & products
Knowledge of the regulation, regarding UCITS investment restrictions and the risk management process of a management company, will be considered as an asset
Flexible and eager to learn
Rigorous and critical scepticism
Sense of responsibility and autonomy
Team player with good communication skills (both oral and written)
Fluency in French and English
