In the frame of the General Data Protection Implementation, compliance strengthening and to support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the University the employee will be responsible for the following tasks :
Work closely with the DPO on tasks and missions detailed in the GDPR and the University Data Protection Policy
Assist the DPO in the new phase of contractual and informational framework for GDPR compliance in different research contexts and University’s administrative activities (e.
g GDPR contractual templates, information notice templates...)
Support the DPO in developing training material targeting administrative and academic staff
Support the annual compliance documentation review (e.g. records of personal data processing)
Support the DPO in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessment;
Support the DPO in her advising role
Assist the DPO for audit preparation scheduled in 2021
Ensure proactive legal watch in data protection matters at national and European level
Actively participate to meetings, info days, and any relevant events
Contribute to any other tasks needed by the Office
What we expect from you
University degree in Law, minimum Master level or equivalent
Experience in a legal position handling data protection issues
Good knowledge of GDPR and related guidelines
Experience about agreement's review
Knowledge about Data Protection Impact Assessment performance or GDPR risk assessment is an advantage
Excellent command of English and fluency in French, any other language is considered as an asset
Proactive, able to work autonomously and handling various tasks simultaneously
Diplomatic, open-minded and able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
Good command of Microsoft Office suite
