Within our Luxembourgish organization of 230 employees, we are looking for a Head Operations Control (m / f).

You will manage a team of 16 FTE's and report to the Head of Operations Luxembourg & Austria (40+ FTE across Luxembourg & Austria) within Production Services.

You will manage a secure, high available, international, efficient and cost effective production environment for Worldline Electronic Payments towards the Benelux and European clients, including :

  • Daily monitoring (24 / 24 7 / 7)
  • Incident, problem, change, configuration & capacity management
  • Provide adequate, secure, recoverable and redundant production environment to assure operational continuity, alignment with business requirements and business growth
  • You will also assist the Head Operations Luxembourg & Austria in all his duties (management, escalation, budget, strategy definition and implementation .

  • Your profile

  • University degree in Computer Sciences / Computer Engineering or equivalent ;
  • 10 year experience in diverse information systems experience, with the emphasis on IT operations in a similar international environment and including at least 5 years of experience as Operation Manager (managing computer, data centers, help desk .
  • and very good exposure and knowledge of IT operations, networking and IT security).
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with :
  • Managing an operational team in an international context.
  • Continuous management of operational excellence & operational controls.
  • The implementation and control of ITIL processes IT Operations.
  • Influencing positive change in support organizations via continuous process improvement.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in handling work / Capacity of adaptation;
  • Balance of both strong strategic, process & technical skills. Be able to see the big picture, but willing to get into deep process or technical details and make educated trade-
  • off decisions without getting stuck in the details

  • Able to develop trusted relationships, a strong internal network and use influence to drive change.
  • Fluent in English and French (speaking and written);
  • Regular travel to European countries to be expected.
