Our client is a prestigious swiss banking group.

The Luxembourg business employs c.

150 people in their newly appointed City Centre offices.

Whilst they are a diversified financial group their core business is private and corporate banking.

Their Luxembourg trade and settlements department consists of c.25 people.

The team act as the primary international hub for all trade settlements and transfers for all banks within the group.

The Context : For their high-profile fund transfers sub- team which today consists of a team of 4 dealing specialists we are mandated to acquire an additional team member.

This is a fast-paced function that requires a person who has a proactive approach and an aptitude and willingness to engage on a continual basis with counterparties by phone and, via precise and articulate email communications in English.

This particular team is known for its high accuracy and efficiency and who is led by an energetic and positive management team.

This is an ideal role for someone currently employed within a TA (dealing) or fund admin client services environment but is now looking for an inhouse’ role.

The Role : · Exchange communication on a professional and efficient manner with other branches and department, ensuring to always maintain the top level in terms of quality of the relationship.

  • Exchange SSI with counterparties in a professional and effective manner.
  • Monitor and update Mass Settlement order book.
  • Complete STF and subscription form if necessary.
  • Duly follow-up pending instructions and request CN if necessary.
  • Match and book transfer confirmation with contract note received.
  • Update order book in Avaloq step by step.
  • Complete STF and application forms on a timely and precisely · Review of the reconciliation reports and proceed with the booking on timely manner.

    12-36 months relevant experience within a simiar function the key is a can-do attitude! · You will be fluent in English both spoken and written The Person : · Eager to learn with an understanding of world business and financial affairs and an awareness of trends and current activity in the financial market · Accurate and methodical, with great attention to detail · Ability to thrive in pressured environments · Good judgement and decision-

    making skills · You will have a confident and positive self image · You will be curious, proactive and able to roll with shifting priorities · Dedication is essential, as is your appreciation of contributing to a harmonious team environment · You will be able to perform well under pressure.

  • Strong time management, a quality orientation and the ability to work well under pressure will be some of your obvious characteristics · Good knowledge on MS Office tools, mainly Excel spreadsheets;
  • Knowledge on Avaloq system is a plus.
