About the Role :
For our HQs in Luxembourg , we are looking for a Buyer for our Raw Materials Procurement function.
The incumbent will have to guarantee purchase of goods, materials and services in accordance with defined guidelines to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base.
Main Responsibilities :
STRATEGIC SOURCING
Contributes in defining category strategy for the Category based on business needs; working in cross functional team including internal need and external market place.
Supports supplier scouting to ensure business requirement
Supports Category Manager in the negotiation of good / services and in the definition of contracts
Insure compliance with sustainability target
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
For specific projects, is involved in the Category / financial planning
Ensures alignment between proper budget management and raw materials setting purchasing business objectives
Controls and monitors KPI reports in order to manage spend
Identifies root cause of variance
Initiates actions to achieve cost targets
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Collaborates with other Functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria, legal, environmental, ethical to purchase goods / services
Ensures timely information to the other Functions concerning contract framework agreements
NEGOTIATION and SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
Execution of the sourcing strategy
Conducts negotiation with suppliers of the Category of responsibility, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct
Ensures the competition between suppliers and subcontractors
Manage in a proactive way supplier and supplier risk
Maintains, consolidates and improves relationships with existing suppliers
PURCHASING MANAGEMENT
Applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical and international financial knowledge,
Ensures purchase orders management, looks for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives
Analyzes, aligns and evaluates offers received, in order to select the best available alternatives
Monitors operative KPIs
Who we are looking for :
Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other related fields;
5 to 7 years of previous work experience in Purchasing;
Previous role in a purchasing department or other related experience to the category or other raw materials;
Analytical mindset (to be able to quickly understand / derive the vendor’s true cost structure);
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Strong reporting skills;
Strong negotiation skills;
Knowledge of Global Raw Materials’ market, price agreements;
Knowledge of principal manufacturing and sustainability processes.
Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach;
A fast learner who rapidly moves up the learning curve and wants to continue to take over new responsibilities;
Ethical and strong personal values.
