IQ Solutions is currently working with a global key investment player.

Our client is seeking to recruit an AML-KYC Specialist for its Luxembourg-based team.

About the role

Assess KYC files (completeness of documentation on file, analysis of powers of authorized persons, shareholding structures, beneficial ownerships, incorporation documents, etc.)

Carry out KYC and AML due diligence on new and existing contractual counterparties and provide risk-based recommendations for approval to relevant committees

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the KYC, AML Due Diligence Framework including screening and monitoring practices, tools, procedures, and AML / CTF assessment grids in accordance with regulatory requirements, Group and local policies

Define and maintain client KYC checklists / AML due diligence questionnaires for the use of internal and external clients

Contribute to the implementation and development of a new business model in accordance with the companies needs

Performing oversight and due diligence on shareholder activities (AML / KYC customers files assessments; screening)

Key requirements

3+ years of experience in Compliance / AML-KYC, ideally gained in Management Company / AIFM or Transfer Agent

Strong knowledge of the fund industry / asset management industry

A strong sense of ownership and responsibility

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and quality standards
