The Amazon HR4HR organization is a global HR team providing strategic HR partnership for the HR business. We are seeking a flexible, adaptive HR Generalist who is passionate about HR and working with HR leaders as we transform the HR organization.

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will demonstrate organizational and operational acumen, be driven by developing top talent, and excited to innovate their thinking about how to support the HR organization as it scales with growth.

This role will provide support to two Senior HR4HR HR Business Partners in supporting EU HR Operations. The role is critical in executing people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Working with the SHRBPs to ensure our processes remain timely and accurate. You will work with the global HR4HR team on quarterly and annual processes to ensure a consistent standard of delivery across the EU HR businesses.

2. You will share information and act as a central resource to the SHRBPs for talent development and performance improvement initiatives.

You will actively participate in the organisation and execution of the HR Talent Review process including the follow through of outcomes and next steps.

3. You will understand, translate and execute the practices of performance management, also acting as the primary contact and approver for the PIVOT process

4. Be a point of contact for HR employee queries

5. Potential to partner with an HR business leader in the future

Amazon Operations is a 24 / 7 environment and shifts may change due to business needs. As such the HR4HR team may need to adjust their working hours to meet business needs

Qualifications

1. Experience working with global teams, driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for a global organization

2. Proven ability maintaining strict confidentiality regarding employee issues, payroll and benefits

3. Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills

4. Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced environment with a high level of energy and sense of humour

5. Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills : accuracy is essential. Outstanding interpersonal skills : must display patience and helpfulness at all times

6. University degree, or equivalent, required
