Role Profile : Digital / DM and Partnership Manager Continental Europe Role can be based in any of the European Countries As of July 2019 Role description : A leadership position reporting to the Europe Head of Accident & Health, this position will develop and monitor A&H Digital / DM and Partnership strategy across Continental Europe.

The geographic footprint includes 17 countries. Development and timely execution of Digital / DM and Partnership A&H Strategy Create, implement and revise strategic business plan and budget - Design and drive the implementation of marketing campaigns through suitable channels (digital, telemarketing, Partnerships) with the goal to acquire and retain customers Drive opportunities to grow Digital / DM and Partnership revenue and margin via product and competitor benchmarking and innovation, Create a detailed marketing plan to build a sales opportunity pipeline to ensure effective ongoing targeted new clients acquisition.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to respond with appropriate marketing strategies and tactics Understands the A&H business model, product appetite, underwriting methodology, and the risks we assume P&L Management - Oversee marketing businesses to achieve financial targets, both top-line and bottom-line, in accordance with product objectives and market potential Prepare and agree annual marketing, premium, TARP (total annualised retail premium) and expense budgets and develop business strategies and oversee execution of programs to achieve agreed financial targets Coordinate to ensure that marketing campaigns are being successfully managed and achieving ultimate results, delivering required profitability benchmark & KPIs Ensure systems, process, administration, policies, procedures are in place, to manage the business and monitor its performance and success Drive initiatives to grow marketing book;
  • e.g. new business, new channels, streamline processes and drive overall portfolio performance and improvements Identification of future digital marketing trends, business models and media consumption to enable commercial advantage Drive collaborative behaviour with leadership team across the wider business work in matrix organisation with multiple country involvement Demonstrate understanding of regulatory and compliance processes and actively participate in relevant governance committees Location : Continental Europe Reporting Lines Reports to : Europe Head of A&H Leadership Skills : Proven Strategic Leadership skills in developing vision and purpose, driving for results and leading effective teams Experience of working as part of a senior management team and leading and articulating organisational strategy Proven ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders Highly collaborative approach across functions and geographies Ability to manage and influence in a matrix structure and across a wide geography Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Technical Skills and Expertise : At least 5 years of Digital / DM and Partnership insurance leadership experience including P&L responsibility Proven business leader, with a proven track record of digital or channel delivery Deep expertise Digital channel development Deep expertise in DM and Partnership development and management Proven experience of growing distribution channel, whilst improving ROI Knowledge of market segmentation, portfolio management, acquisition and distribution Established strong relationships with customers, intermediaries, and regulators Demonstrated business savvy, analytical and quantitative skills Superb communication, both oral and written Ability to manage concurrent and time sensitive projects Delivers through to execution Knowledge of the Fintech / Insurtech scene Core Competencies : Business development Building effective teams Business acumen Customer focus Developing direct reports and others Drive for results Innovative management Managerial courage Negotiating Optimizing work processes Organizational agility Peer relationships Project management Presentation skills Problem solving Strong quantitative and analytical skills Outstanding attention to detail, time management and the ability to multitask It has been and will continue to be the policy of American International Group, Inc.
