The impact you will be making :
50%) Drive customers and partners to the technical decision on our services for Azure IoT, Edge and Sphere (Edge to Cloud).
You will directly support the market share and revenue growth of Microsoft Azure and IoT Platform through your technical specialism in designing and implementing mission critical solutions for our customers and partners.
You will be required to give technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops and architecture design sessions, proof of concepts / value and pilots to explain, demonstrate and prove to our priority customers and partners the capabilities of Microsoft’s products and services and how we can make their business more successful.
You will drive resolutions for technical, competitive and security blockers to accelerate IoT solution sales and customer usage.
You will be responsible for owning the win of the technical decision at customers (and partners) for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, through tailoring your message, bringing ideas, engaging with them to show our technology differentiation and guiding them into decision making.
Develop expertise in key commercial IoT markets, such as Industrial Automation and Manufacturing, Healthcare, Smart Buildings, Smart Retail, Security and Surveillance, Transportation and Energy to effectively engage the partners and help building the IoT solutions.
Develop and leaning-in on a strategic engagement with core Microsoft IoT accounts, in close partnership with our Azure IoT sales specialists.
30%) Being a vital connection and orchestration point for a variety of technical resources . By orchestrating complex solutions with internal and external partners for multiple Microsoft products and services.
Helping identify and diagnose technical, architectural, and competitive blockers and respective solutions for sales opportunities and usage decision blockers, helping to ensure that these solutions are implemented.
You will be actively sharing knowledge with customers and partners to drive the sale, deployment and adoption of Microsoft solutions.
With your expertise you will shape current and future products and services, marketing strategies and customer centricity ideas by sharing your feedback with a variety of stakeholders.
20%) Technical thought leadership. You will be the thought leader in the IoT space, sharing your expertise, coaching others and leading by example across technical communities.

Obtaining and maintaining Azure certifications will be part of the requirement.
Who we are looking for :
We’re looking for a passionate and competent IoT Solutions Technical Specialist (TS) with industry experience to join our EMEA team.
Our team is proficient in understanding our customers and partners' technical needs and developing a mutually beneficial business value with them.
You will engage in a complimentary manner with our customers and work with our sales to build deep relationships with our customers, accelerating and enabling their end-to-end IoT solution creation and deployment, powered by both Microsoft and 3rd-party / open-source technologies.
The right candidate understands the importance of good time management, understands how to set realistic expectations with the customer / partner and can quickly assess the capabilities required for the customer / partner involved in creating the solution.
This role will be focused on driving technical pre-sales with customers / partners in Microsoft’s Western-Europe region, specifically Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal.
