Job Description Summary

  • Responsible as a Senior System Test Lead for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle applications involving Inverters, Motors, Batteries, E-Transmission & other BEV Components on a HIL / Dyne.
  • Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations.
  • Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage Verification & Validation Activities on a Project.
  • Creating Overall Test Plan for the project for each release as well as for Production.
  • Planning System, Software & Hardware test creation and execution for the project.
  • Maintaining Overall V&V Status for the project and present it to all stakeholders.
  • Attending customer meetings & any escalation internal or external.
  • Responsible for Overall V&V Status reporting to customer and other stakeholders within Organisation for the project.
  • Prepare Release Test Summary and Release Test for the project.
  • Responsible for any Audit on the Project relating to Test Processes.
  • Follow the process as defined by EDF or any deviation agreed with Engineering Group Manager Test & Automation.
  • Follow Defect Analysis and Tracking process as defined.
  • Report SW and HW failures to development team and track them to closure.
  • Leading Team of engineers and supporting their Performance Review with their Line Manager.
  • Responsible for Bench Definition / Configuration required for Testing for the project.
  • Managing Overall budget for Test equipment for the project
  • Job Requirements / Work Experience / Skills

  • Experience in Leading a Team.
  • Experience in Planning activities not only for themselves but also for team.
  • Experience in presenting to customer and also internal stakeholders with confidence.
  • Basic knowledge of Microcontroller hardware, Motors, Automotive electronics and Electrical circuits.
  • Analyze and understand the Functional Requirements / Design Requirements and develop Test Cases for System / Integration / Functional testing as per ASPICE process
  • Create HIL / Dyne Test Plan, Test Cases from Functional Requirements / Design Requirements.
  • Preferred Tools knowledge : CANoe with CAPL Scripting, CANape, TraceTronic-ECU Test, NI LABVIEW, NI VERISTAND, TESTSTAND, DIAGRA, ETAS INCA, Control Desk NG, Configuration Desk NG, JIRA, Polarion & Plastic SCM / Bit Bucket
  • Good knowledge of C language, Python & Basic understanding of MATLAB Simulink / Simscape Models.
  • Knowledge of test methods and test management tools like Polarion / Doors / Jira.
  • Knowledge of automotive ASPICE Standard,Functional Safety ISO 26262 & CyberSecuity Standards preferred.
  • Domain Expertise in Electric Drives / Transmission systems / Battery Management System / Vehicle Dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with global teams in agile approach
  • Good analytical and problem solving capability
  • Ability to occasional travel within EU or Internationally.
