Within the sales & marketing organization of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products, take a key role in the pricing team and the digitalization transformation.
Pricing is at the heart of the value creation and it requires data based sound and actionable analytics. It is also about change management of the organization towards big data technologies.
Long products Europe has initiated a strategic project to transform the pricing process from the price guidelines to offers to order entry.
In this project, data mining, modelling and analysis are important attributes make the project a success. Long products will be supported by an external partner who will provide the initial resources, models and analysis.

Minimum Applicant Attribute
Education / Qualification : Master
Subject : Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Engineering Language and Proficiency Level : English Advanced
Other Minimum Requirements :
Master (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Engineering )
Enthusiastic and excellent team player with good communication skills
Business oriented and keen in discovering the business
Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining
Good programming skills, ideally in Python, R, Java
Proficient with distributed processing technologies (Spark / Hadoop ecosystem), Big Data querying tools, such as Hive, Impala, Spark-SQL
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
