As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers. You will solve complex business problems. You will be fully involved in all steps from strategy definition to implementation.
The skills and responsibilities for this individual contributor include but are not limited to :
Developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
Developing API backends in Python and UIs with Python libraries like Flask
Communicating with the team while designing and developing efficient and user-friendly applications for internal and external use
Communicating with IT department about the requirements of the project
Refining requirements, collaborating with the team
Demonstrating communication skills and the ability to drive continuous performance improvements with the stakeholders, vendors and technology subject matter specialists
Troubleshooting incidents in development and production environments
Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and / or opportunities arise
Keep up to date with developments in field
Following online tutorials to be autonomous
Your Profile
You hold a at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Programming, Computer and Information Science, Engineering, etc.
You have a minimum of three years of experience in software development.
You have a very good command of English. French and German will be considered as an asset.
You demonstrate thorough knowledge in the following areas :
Python knowledge with common data libraries like pandas, numpy
Popular Python web development libraries and frameworks like Flask, Django, etc
HTML & CSS
Web User Interface (UI) creation and use of recent JavaScript libraries
Experienced on Git workflows
Successfully completed at least 3 web application projects
Your knowledge of the following areas is considered as an asset for this role :
Web application libraries and frameworks like React, Angular, etc.
Using REST services
Experience in developing REST APIs
Relational databases and SQL
NoSQL datastores
Using cloud services (MS Azure)
Azure DevOps knowledge
Exposure on Agile methodology
Experience with unit testing
