OPPORTUNITY CONTEXT : Due to their continuous expansion and growing complexity, the organisation has very recently begun the implementation of a group wide enterprise risk management strategy.
Operating over 70 international sites, the incumbent, alongside the newly appointment Group risk director, will play an integral role in establishing an ERM framework / system.
The approach to the mandate will be essential, this role will be as much about positively influencing local management (internationally) and developing tactics and strategies for the roll-
out of the ERM across the group as efficiently as possible. We need a strong technician; someone that comes from a complex commercial and or industrial environment (ideally within a manufacturing context).
However, this is a mandate that requires confidence and assertiveness to enter into open debate and collaboration across all business functions.
You will need to take on the role of innovator and where needed lobby’ to ensure that your arguments and enterprise risk management strategy is fulfilled.
This is clearly an outstanding opportunity to be noticed; your output will be clearly measured by your visible success. You will work directly with a full suite of executive members of the business and will take on a real sense of ownership of your mandate.

This will comprise the core functions of a business operational risks and the implementation of a risk warning mechanism The individual will identify, evaluate, steer and monitor strategic, operational and financial risks THE ROLE : Identification, evaluation, steering and monitoring of risks Evaluating risks by comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements and environmental factors and evaluating the organizations previous handling risks Preparation of regularly reports Integration of risk management in the core functions of business operations Implementation of an early-
warning mechanism for the main risks Active collaboration with decentral entities to capture all relevant risks Coordination of risk committee meetings Proposition of counter-
measures where applicable or escalates Establishment of systematic approach for the identification of potential risk factors Simulation of stress tests to assess financial impact of risks and potential counter measures initiatives Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization PERSON PROFILE : The successful candidate will have 8-
10 experience within risk management / controlling within an international manufacturing context The individual must have robust communication planning and analytical skills You have an inquisitive and forward-
