Reports to Regulatory Reporting Manager / Senior Financial Reporting
The purpose of this position is to help our Technical Team with delivering our regulatory reporting services to clients and supporting the client facing teams with their day-to-day FATCA / CRS and other regulatory queries / updates and to become a subject matter expert on relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities :
Act as the first point of contact for FATCA / CRS and other regulatory queries raised by the client facing teams
Ensure the adherence of our standard procedures and processes
Prepare FATCA / CRS Legal Entity Analysis for administered entities
Registrations with the IRS and country specific portals
Prepare and submit FATCA and CRS reporting
Maintenance of internal databases
Sense-check and sign off of investor classifications
Research new regulations applicable to Aztec’s clients and preparing relevant materials
Skills, knowledge, expertise :
Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of experience in the investment fund industry in the field of middle office, reporting or product control
Previous regulatory experience preferred, but not essential
Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported by the Aztec Academy)
Computer literacy, word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
Fluent in English (French is considered as an asset)
