As the owner of the demand planning process for responsible Business Unit, you provide guidance for & align on a robust fact-
based 18-months rolling forecast. You provide leadership & input in monthly consensus cross-functional forecasting (S&OP) meetings and incorporate learnings to improve the forecasting process.
Lead the demand planning process & activities. Start with establishing the baseline forecast & provide guidance for and align on the total consensus forecasts (18 months horizon) to ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with market / customer trends.
Achieve continuous improvement of the accuracy of demand forecasts. Ensure that appropriate forecasting processes and methods are being followed and updated as needed.
Maintain forecast system data integrity.
Be the liaison between local and regional teams and functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance and other Supply Chain functions) by utilizing a collaborative and consensus approach.
Ensure regular alignment with Supply Planning in order to facilitate demand management
Be THE expert in forecasting and demand planning businesswise as well as system wise. Be responsible for data maintenance, champion new ideas and approaches.
To join our team you will need :
Bachelor or Master degree in business, economics supply chain related field.
Fluency in English, French and / or German, any other language is an asset.
Working experience in supply chain is desired.
min. 2 years of working experience in Forecasting at a major multinational corporation with similar complexity of SKU's
IT, Soft Skills & others :
Knowledge in integrated supply chain systems, SAP APO DP, Excel, Access, Powerpoint.
Good understanding of forecast models and methods, Supply chain processes and practices.
Driving for change / improvement, reliable, accurate and timely.
Analytical skills / problem solving focussed, decision making
High level of service and customer orientation
