Amazon is looking for a data scientist to join the EU RME Predictive Analytics team to provide the technical expertise for sustaining the worldwide Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Program.
The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop and deploy effective Machine Learning models for early detection of failures in GSF refrigeration and cold storage systems.
The developed ML models will allow to exploit the pattern found in the historical data in order to effectively identify future risk and opportunities as well as to optimize current processes.
This role requires an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, professional experience applying Machine Learning methodologies and data engineering practices as well as outstanding business acumen and ability to work with various teams across Amazon.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and driven by a desire to innovate in this space.
