Amazon introduced the first Kindle in 2007, which offered 90,000 e-books on one device. It sold out 5.5 hours after the launch announcement.
Since then, we have greatly expanded both our device range and our content selection to create the best-selling e-reader family in the world.
But there’s still more to be done as we work toward our goal of making every book ever written available in any language to our customers, and we need your help to do it.
To help us achieve this objective and continue to innovate on behalf of our customers, the Kindle EU Content team is seeking a talented Business Analyst based in Luxembourg.
If you join us, you will be at the center of our efforts to scale and automate dashboards models that will revolutionize the way we deliver Kindle content to our customers.
To be successful in this role, you should not be intimidated by large, complex data sets, know your way around data visualization tools and be able to teach us a thing or two about consolidating data from disparate data stores in a scalable way.
But that’s not all you should also have strong business and communication skills and be able to work closely with global Kindle stakeholders to define key business questions and build data sets and models that answer them.
Our BAs are expected to have a detailed understanding of our business and never lose sight of the broader problems that we are trying to solve.
Above all, you should be passionate about using data lots and lots of data to solve problems and improve the way we serve our customers.
You should be curious about what’s happening in the industry and hungry to learn more, and you should leverage that interest to provide guidance and support for other engineers based on marketplace best practices.
Think you’re up for the challenge? Apply today and let us know why.
