Amazon is looking for a smart, team-oriented, analytical key member to join the EU Automotive Supply Chain team. The role does not require automotive industry experience.

This role will be responsible for identifying, scoping and managing both vendor facing and internally facing programs to ensure we optimize availability for our customers whilst delivering supply chain efficiencies that reduce fixed and variable costs within Amazon's Fulfillment Center's (FC's).

The successful candidate will be skilled at gaining cross-functional support from internal and external teams. They will have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.

While the role is based in Luxembourg, its scope is for our European countries.

Key Responsibilities for this Role :

  • Close collaboration with key vendors to improve their operational excellence, always looking to identify opportunities to scale and automate across vendors and marketplaces
  • Scoping, driving and delivering complex supply chain projects across multiple teams. You will define clear milestones and set the expectations of stakeholders effectively
  • Replicate best practice processes from other categories and countries to facilitate quick results
  • Partner with global teams to develop multi-stakeholder initiatives and drive global standardization.
  • Communicate ideas effectively and with influence (both verbally and in writing), within and outside the team
  • Work with frugality, discretion and efficiency with prioritization and good judgment. Look to identify and evaluate potential risks / obstacles and determine appropriate corrective action
  • QA new procedures or ways of working to ensure the highest quality.

  • University Degree or Bachelors Degree is required (engineering, computer science, mathematics or operations)
  • Extensive experience of relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, and / or business management / consulting with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Data analysis, problem solving and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full-time Masters in Business Administration
  • Proficient in one or more of the following languages in addition to English : German, French, Spanish, Italian
  • SQL skills
