Corporate Director - Major Real Estate Investor
This is a broad Luxembourg Director role which requires a strong operational understanding of the alternative investment business.
As the business works extensively through Luxembourg, the main requirement of the role is to manage effectively the operations outsourced to any third-party suppliers, and the business relationships with those key suppliers.
This could be a range of accounting, legal, corporate and tax responsibilities, and so the person needs to have a good broad experience of these areas, especially in relation to handling transactions for an AIF.
We are looking for a naturally proactive and organised individual, with good knowledge in the space, as they will be have to be self-managing for a large amount of the time.
The right candidate will come with a strong operational background of working within a Real Estate or Private Equity Asset Management Firm, and strong internal and external client handling-skills.
The candidate will have a solid knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory framework, and a good track record of delivery in busy and time pressurised environments.
We are looking for a highly qualified, astute transaction professional who has a broad range of knowledge, including accounting and corporate, with over 8 years of experience in working within the asset management space.
In addition to being a strong transaction manager, the ideal candidate will have gained experience of working within an illiquid fund environment, and will be able to support the various needs of the business throughout the investment life cycle.
They will be highly motivated, committed and passionate about their work, and bring with them fresh ideas and a great work ethic.
As this person will act as a Board Director on some entities, a commitment to thinking smartly about investments and risk, is key, as is also being flexible to attend board meetings and sign resolutions as needed.
