As a key member of the Hot Runner and controllers (HRC) business development team, the E-Commerce Specialist will contribute to the strategic execution of our HRC E-commerce website.
The person will be responsible for the overall management of the E-Commerce tool, project lead major updates, make recommendations based on various analytical data and usage observations, work closely with sales to promote the tool, act as a key technical expert for customers and support global training.
This position will leverage the above expertise and work with the HRC business development team to create and execute plans for revenue growth for Hot Runner and Controller segments supported through the E-Commerce Tool.
Revenue and Lead Generation is a key area of focus for this role. Responsibilites : Increase our overall E-commerce sales of hot runners and controllers by : Identifying and managing tool development updates with the Husky DST Group (functionality, product reach, competitive gaps) based on market learnings, data analytics, user behavior Leading global tool promotion in conjunction with sales Working with marketing on key digital campaigns Working with Product Managers to ensure the right product portfolio is supported by the tool Working with various development suppliers Expert Training / User Experience Act as a go-to expert for customer training, customers presentations to ensure the continuous successful uptake and adoption of the tool Foster customer experience with responsive support Drive new customer usage and regional e-commerce usage growth Act as a go-to expert for sales Lead chat tool management with various vendors as required Manage online reviews, provide responsive feedback Analytics and Usage Perform ongoing monitoring of various site analytics (Google and In-tool dashboards) and present business recommendations-based learnings Track and report on user statistics / Identify issues, celebrate and promote successes Work with marketing to identify key areas to focus on for Google / Digital Campaigns (Google Ads, digital retargeting) to drive incremental sales and new customer acquisition through the tool Utilize SEO, social media, content marketing, e-mail marketing, PPC and SEM) to recommend digital campaigns with marketing involvement Present E-Commerce data and findings to key senior business stakeholders Understand competitive landscape regarding E-Commerce products and identify gaps Participate in shows, customer visits, sales meetings Qualifications : Engineering degree / diploma with business / commercial experience and / or business degree / diploma with technical experience 5+ years E-Commerce Experience Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make strategic recommendations that are aligned with the business needs Customer-centric attitude with the ability to successfully prepare and deliver professional presentations to customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using multiple digital marketing tools Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, being a data resource hub to peers as required Superior data analytics skills requiring close studying of regional and global company data.
Ability to manage, analyze, and report on technical, local, onsite, and offsite SEO Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, emerging trends, and relationship between traditional and online marketing activities Comprehend complex problems and translate into actionable efforts Knowledge of injection molding and or Hot Runners and the plastics market Strong organizational and project management skills.
