We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to support the Retail Vendor Recruitment (RVR) function in Europe. RVR’s mandate is to on-board small to medium-sized vendors onto the Amazon Retail platform at scale in order to grow relevant selection for Amazon customers throughout Europe.
The role focuses on driving innovation for processes covering the full on-boarding funnel. Starting from lead management over vendor negotiations to selection creation.
In this role, you will interact closely with other PM teams, Retail, Finance and software development to drive scale and productivity gains for Retail Vendor Recruitment.
This role is part of a team, which is dedicated to deliver first class products by leveraging state of the art technologies such as machine learning and automation of repetitive processes wherever possible.
This role can be based out of Luxembourg, Munich, London or Paris.
As the Senior Product Manager RVR, you will :
Drive process improvements that will enable the RVR function to scale further.
Work with development teams on the future evolution of the technology platforms RVR leverages.
Enable the RVR organization to focus on the vendors that provide access to products most relevant to customers.
Work cross functionally across our European consumer business
Provide analytical support to all processes associated with vendor onboarding.
Derive actionable conclusions from large data sets.
BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
several years of product management or consulting experience in technology focused business
Team orientation and willingness to roll up sleeves to solve complex, dynamic challenges
Strong relationship building skills; experience leading stakeholders and partners to drive cross functional programs
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers and business owners
Basic Knowledge of SQL
Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to derive actionable insights from large amounts of data
Excellent written and oral communication skills; at ease when dealing with senior management.
Able to understand technical issues and their implications
Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in dynamic and demanding environments
Strong bias for action, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean work environment
Advanced Knowledge of SQL
