Your responsibilities

  • Drafting and legal review of wide range of commercial and operational / IT contracts, in relation to payment services, with merchants, banks, IT / fintech service providers, etc;
  • Corporate housekeeping for all Worldline Luxembourg legal entities and branches (including minuting of the board of directors’ and shareholders’ meetings);
  • Providing legal advices to the various departments across the group and to the local management in relation to Luxembourg laws and regulations in a broad range of topics;
  • Follow up of litigation, coordination with external lawyers and stakeholders;
  • Act as Deputy of the Head Legal and assist the Head Legal in all the daily tasks of the Legal department.
  • Your profile

  • Law degree (Business law) ideally Luxembourg qualified lawyer (bar exam);
  • At least 7-10 years’ experience in Luxembourg as senior lawyer within international law firm or legal department of audit firm, or as senior counsel in Luxembourg banks or regulated Fintech / financial institutions;
  • Excellent knowledge of company law, commercial law, banking law and CSSF regulations;
  • Good understanding of PSD2, GDPR, AML laws and regulations;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand way;
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities under time pressure and dynamic environment;
  • Fluent in French and English, spoken and written. Good knowledge in German would be an asset.
