The Opportunity

We are currently looking for Plant Optimization Leader Consumer Manufacturing EMEA to join our team in Colmar Berg, Luxembourg.

On this position you will :

Deliver educational materials to all associates (either directly or indirectly through "teach the teacher" methodology) in order to effectively implement the various foundations and pillars of the Plant Optimization process.

Play an active role in the organization and delivery of Regional PO Academies.

Track progress and effectiveness of application of methodology of each pillar implementation against master Plan and, in partnership with plant optimization leaders and plant optimization specialists, develop contingency / recovery plans necessary to ensure learning and achieve results.

Partner with Plant Optimization Managers to ensure maximum effectiveness of PO deployment plans.

Conduct audits to ensure education is being effectively transferred and process is adopted in a sustainable way.

Provide clear, concise and direct feedback to Plant and Regional leadership on successes and challenges during implementations.

Determine needs for supporting additional site implementations where dedicated Practitioners are not on site.

To join our team You will need :

Education :

Engineering or MBA, Industrial Engineering or related domain.

Languages :

Fluent in English. French or German is a strong advantage .

Experience :

10+ years of manufacturing experience in production, quality, engineering or related field

5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment

Solid experience and knowledge of TPM pillars (Autonomous maintenance, Training, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Quality Management, Early Equipment Management, New Product Industrialization)

Demonstrated experience in implementing Lean / TPM principles in a manufacturing environment

Experience supporting plants internally or externally

Demonstrated experience in Loss Reduction Projects

Experience as Focused Improvement Expert / Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Skills :

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified

Demonstrated ability to lead and direct cross-functional work teams

Strong project & time management skills

Knowledge of Zero Loss Thinking & Loss / Financial Stratification

Knowledge of tools used in Lean (5S, Value Stream Map, Pareto, Kaizen Events, SMED, DMAIC)

Strong teaching skills

Strong problem-solving skills and mentality

Courageous and willing to make decisions

Open minded, pro-active and able to drive change

Strong communication skills (written and oral) at all levels of the organization

Strong financial and business acumen
