Amazon is looking for a Carrier Ops Manager to manage the day-to-day relationship with its third party air cargo partners.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance along with measuring and enhancing performance throughout the Air network to ensure Amazon can continue to delight its many customers.
As an external-facing member of the team, the Carrier Ops manager should be an articulate leader that possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence performance with third party vendor partners.
Ensure contractual execution and compliance air cargo partners
Work with air cargo partners to measure and improve on-time performance, standard operating procedures
Disposition delays and determine performance incentives for cargo partners
Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business reults
Minimum of five years of Airline, or equivalent experience with third party carriers
End to End process management experience
3-5 years of advanced Microsoft excel experience
Familiarity with industry regulations, standards and guidelines
Willing and able to travel 10%
MBA, or a graduate degree focusing on Supply chain, Transportation or Aviation
Strong track record of problem solving and strong analytical thinking skills, to include familiarity with basic statistics concept and regression analysis
Able to thrive in ambiguous environment when given high levels of autonomy and responsibility.
