We are looking to recruit for our client, major industrial player in Luxembourg, their Engineering Manager Role : Part of the Plant Leadership team and responsible for driving the Engineering Capabilities Role is reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities : Lead and ensure the effectiveness of the Engineering team, (Electrical, Mechanical and Automation Engineers) Lead and develop the Management of Change process (MOC).
Hire and develop the talents needed for an organizational structure that delivers long term value for the company Improve the Engineering project management by defining the process, setting up systematic review and using visual management.
Be directly responsible for strategical projects to develop scheduling, budgeting and delivering process with his team. Drive Compliance and Safety vision Lead the safety action plan and ensure that all actions are completed on time.
Candidate Profile Master Degree in Engineering Fluent in English, French highly expected. At least ten years’ experience within a manufacturing environment in engineering and or maintenance roles, among which 5 in a management position.
Ability to advance the culture, share a Vision and keep the team connected to it Ability to Lead transformation, being a role model and leading by example Ability to identify the required skills in his team and the existing gaps to develop the team Ability to communicate with multicultural teams and handle with the required sense of urgency Strong engineering knowledge on mechanics, automation, robotics & electricity.
Ability to lead an interdisciplinary team of engineers working in different areas (electricity, automation, mechanical engineering, etc) Stress resilient, analytical mind Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to make decisions and take initiatives A strong work ethic and attitude.
