CONTEXT : As part of the growth of the firm’s European activities a new role has been created within the deal operations and structuring team.

The incumbent will have a diversified portfolio of responsibilities and will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting into Director / MD level the role will be heavily implicated within investment related activities and will be a key member of the centralized center of excellence, executing the day-to-day activities of the investment management function with a local and global scope of responsibilities.

The role will be exposed to a wide range of asset classes including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Renewable Energy and Credit investments.

THE ROLE : Be part of a high-performing team. Immediate priorities include (but are not limited to) : Transactional support and structuring : within a very dynamic transactional context, coordinate the overall transactional processes and actively lead pre closing and closing work streams.

Working closely with other members of the team, internal partners and external advisors and will, among other, provide support on the following aspects :

  • Prepare pre closing files and tools to ensure adequate documentations is produced to support each key steps of the transactional process.
  • Provide support and advice to the various structuring workstreams for new investments.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of transactional documentation, together with internal partners and external advisors.
  • Prepare fund flows analysis and ensure adequate documentations is produced to support each key steps of the funding process.
  • Liaise with local banks and counsel to ensure a smooth execution of closing and funding activities.
  • Working with internal partners, identify and address structuring and operational complexities of Investments’ investment structures.
  • Coordinate the establishment of new legal entities and address legal and governance requirements in support of investment structures in partnership with investment teams and core services teams.
  • Provide support for structuring activities ( , maintaining minutes, tracking deal timelines, coordinating completion of activities amongst internal partners etc.)
  • Investment Management :

  • Manage ongoing shareholders activities for a diversified portfolio of assets.
  • Coordinate execution of all shareholders matters in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders involved with shareholders matters
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain and manage investment structures post-closing.
  • Maintain ongoing operational activities of wholly owned investments entities to ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Take ownership and be accountable for ensuring external and internal compliance deliverables are completed timely.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Investment Management Plans.

  • Educated to at least an advance degree in business or economics, CFA or equivalent is a strong advantage
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related function and ideally in a reputable investment firm, previous exposure to a variety of asset classes is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills and investment industry knowledge
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills, French is a strong advantage
  • Highly dedicated, result oriented, hardworking, and focused upon delivering results
  • Highly organized and rigorous the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about problem solving, solutions oriented and comfortable dealing with complex and fast-moving transactions.
  • You will be a self-starter who works well under pressure.
  • You must have strong interpersonal and business relationship skills and enjoy working across the various stakeholders within the firm and in-particular with the Investment Departments.
