Within the Operations Department of Lombard Odier Europe (LOESA) :

1. Key Responsibilities

Invoicing of orders executed on securities markets. Ensure the accuracy of the charges between client and market side and correct them if needed.

Understand the corporate action flow as well the income payment. Contact the relevant department within the group in case of discrepancies in corporate events.

Daily check of the advices generated on T-1.Booking and monitoring of the securities transfers for client portfolios.Validation and booking of cash transfers both for client and internal accountsEnsure that a four eyes check is always performed when introducing any transaction in the system.

Reconciliation of securities and cash transactions using the XMS softwareValidation of fiduciary depositsEnsure the cash management across all Nostro accounts of Lombard Odier (Europe) S.

A.Undertake the priorities based on the objectives of the department, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of all operational transactions (measured by a reversal rate of less than 1%)Resolution of operational queries post by LOESA branches in a timely mannerManagement of transactions related to Non Deposited Accounts

2. Management and Reporting

Reporting to the LOESA Head of OperationsManagement of new joiners Junior Operation Officers (if any)

3. Counterparties and clients

  • Key Internal Contacts : Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers; Finance Managers, TBI in Geneva & in Luxembourg; Risk department, BRM;
  • Internal Auditors Key External Contacts : Custodian and counterparties

    4. Systems Used

    XMS : reconciliationG2 : core system to follow the positions, the transactions, static data of stock and clientNegoce : Invoicing applicationCash TransferFiduciary Back : Validation of Fiduciary transactionsSecurities transfer application

    5. Risks

    Financial risk : release of cash not validated, bad charges in the account of customersReputational risk

    6. Skills and knowledge requirements

    Qualifications / education required : bachelor degree

    Experience required : 3 year-experience

    Competencies, soft skills :

    Organization skills and sense of prioritiesStress resistantAccurate and methodicTeam player

    Language skills : strong oral and written skills in English, French is an asset
