In this role, you provide guidance to Senior Leaders and HR Business partners and their respective executive teams of RBC segments in Europe (I&TS and Capital Market) on all Employee Relations (ER) aspects, including building ER strategy for better execution of strategic priorities.

You also make it easier to do ER by reducing complexity, improving end-to-end process effectiveness through a variety of methodologies including agile and process improvement.

You lead and manage Employee Relations for Continental Europe & Offshore (Luxembourg - Ireland Switzerland Italy France 1650 employees).

You manage one local ER role. What will you do? Manage and implement ER strategy through a constructive social dialogue with Employee Representatives in order to support business strategy and ensure a professional execution of any people impact, including management of social relations in Europe Identify, escalate and remediate ER risks and issues You are accountable for compliance with legal framework related to Staff representations (local staff delegations and EWC) Handle of terminations escalating as necessary and protecting the Bank’s interests whilst adopting a fair and best practice approach Provide interpretation & guidance to delivery of RBC Workplace programs, policies, & procedures, recommending updates & enhancements as required Drafts employee relations related policies / guidance and suggests improvements to the same and partner with senior executives in the creation and execution of overall strategies Ensure the business and RBC IS Bank Luxembourg adhere to all applicable regulatory, legal regulations that may impact the business Advise and challenge the development and execution of business strategies to support the profitable growth of the business, advise business executives as it relates to organizational design and structure, talent requirements and assessment and mitigation of HR risks What do you need to succeed?

Must-have University or post-graduate degree (Master) 10 years business and HR experience (i.e : HR Business Partner or Senior HR Manager role) Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices and strong social relations experience, excellent knowledge of Luxembourg law and Excellent communication & negotiation skills, working with senior stakeholders and partnering with legal and compliance teams Excellent interpersonal skills and networking abilities with clients, industry associations and business leaders Fluent in both French and English Nice-to-have Good knowledge of French law (preferable) What’s in it for you?
