BBH is currently recruiting Client Service Manager to join our fast-growing Alternative Fund Services team. In this key role you will be responsible for the management and supervision of Real Estate, Private Debt and Private Equity full service teams including accounting consolidation and Assets Supervision, and will be responsible for the quality of service delivered to a set of clients.

You will ensure that the whole team adheres to reporting requirements, and that complex client queries are successfully resolved.

You will need to leverage your strong knowledge of the Luxembourg real estate, private equity and debt industry in order to effectively deliver outstanding client service to your dedicated client group.

You will have a high level of technical acumen and analytical skills in order to foster a solution orientated and insight led approach to client service within your team.

As a manager you nurture team spirit and act as a mentor whilst encouraging a collaborative and respectful environment within the group.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Institute measures to report on BBH’s performance levels toward meeting client service standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationship objectives with Relationship Managers (RMs).
  • Provide filtering and escalation for client requests; Serve as an escalation point for client service issues and deliverables.
  • Work closely with RMs to identify opportunities to cross sell BBH products and services.
  • Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives and educate clients through frequent communications and periodic presentations.
  • Establish appropriate contacts within client organizations and BBH internal departments.
  • Stay abreast of client goals and strategies and identify opportunities to expand client relationships.
  • Anticipate and identify clients' needs to match BBH products and services to those needs.
  • Build overall credibility and foster trust with clients.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for Systems, Operations, and Risk / Control for any client related issues and proactively manage the resolution process with frequent updates and satisfaction measures
  • Maintain relationship objectives, developing a proactive relationship and service plan to ensure an exceptional value-
  • added service to clients.

  • Partner with your Relationship Manager and Senior Management to ensure long-term profitability of client relationships.
  • Control team expenses.
  • Manage all aspects of your team ensuring appropriate development opportunities, succession planning, performance management and leveraging support from the HR team where necessary.
  • Complete and oversee the completion of the BBH annual performance review process.
  • Oversee promotion recommendations and compensation adjustments.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff to improve individual and team performance. Manage performance issues and disciplinary process for employees falling below set expectations.
  • Requirements :

    We are looking for an experienced people manager with strong technical acumen and client service skills. To be successful in your application you will need to have deep experience in alternative funds servicing, the ability to demonstrate a passion for client servicing and evidence previous success in developing, engaging and motivating teams.

    You will have strong leadership skills and team orientation and the ability to act as a positive change agent as our business and industry continues to evolve in a rapidly changing environment.
