Position Summary & Responsibilities

Amazon currently seeks a creative, dynamic and experienced Sr. Program Manager to join FBA Supply Chain team in Luxembourg.

A successful Program Manager must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to influence internal / external partners at all levels of the organization.

This role will particularly suit someone with strong analytical abilities,, relationship building skills and superb project management capabilities

    Responsibilities include :

    Driving the implementation of Strategic Initiatives to optimize the Supply Chain

  • Deliver projects, features, processes and systems that improve transportation costs for both Amazon and Sellers at EU scale
  • Identify, prioritize and communicate key areas for service and business improvement along Amazon's and Sellers' Supply Chain
  • Write business and technical requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams.
  • Establish the business goals and supporting business metrics and indicators for success.
  • Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
  • Keys to success in this role include exceptional program management, strong communication and collaboration skills. The candidate needs to be able to coordinate across multiple work streams, and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions.

    Basic qualifications

  • Graduate BA or BS degree required,
  • Familiar with finance and supply chain management
  • 5+ years of program and project management experience (ideally within the SC domain)
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional capacity
  • A strong appetite for teamwork, and a just-do-it attitude.
  • Well versed in Excel and SQL
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or a Supply Chain / Operations discipline; MBA preferred
  • The right candidate thrives in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
  • Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done to consistently deliver results
