A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.
You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.
Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC’s system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs.
As part of the team, you’ll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
Train and lead staff
Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new / existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
As an IT Solution Architect (m / f) , you will :
devise and formalise solution and technical architectures;
help to implement complete solution architectures that are integrated into projects;
audit and optimise existing technical architectures;
help to define integration standards and frames of reference, and to ensure that they are applied to the projects concerned;
keep the information system mapping up to date by ensuring its integrity;
monitor technological developments and undertake research;
present your views on the strategy to pursue to the project managers;
devise and lead introductory / training sessions for our teams; and
act as a point of contact for architects across PwC’s global network.
You have a master’s degree in IT;
You have 5 to 10 years’ experience in defining and choosing solutions and in analytical, design and architecture methods;
You are familiar with business architecture methods (TOGAF or others);
You are an expert in delivering digital and mobile platforms via the cloud, SaaS and on-premises software;
You are proficient in French and English, which are widely used within our firm;
You are meticulous, methodical and proactive;
You have good people skills.
