Purpose :

The Human Resources team provide generalist and specialist expertise and have a positive and well-respected relationship with the business.

We work closely with our European counterparts as well as HR colleagues in our parent company based in the United Kingdom.

We are looking for a dynamic HR Intern who will offer support the HR team in Luxembourg by ensuring HR procedures, systems, processes and controls are maintained to a high level of accuracy.

As part of the TME HR team, you will also be given the opportunity to work on ad-hoc HR projects, working alongside an established and well-respected HR team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Insurance Distribution Directive training manager by keeping the IDD training log up-to-date, collecting training information from employees and other HR team members, collecting and storing training certificates and / or attendance lists, collecting fit and proper forms and criminal records, and producing monthly follow-up report
  • Perform employee files audit and identify and collect any missing documents
  • Ensure employee files are fully digitalized and correctly stored and tagged on the digital record platform
  • Perform job descriptions audit and, if necessary, identify those that are missing or need updating
  • Assist with the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, publishing adverts, screening applications, scheduling interviews, collecting references and new hire forms
  • Assist with the planning and organization of new hire onboarding and induction
  • Keep track of probationary periods and reviews
  • Assist the HR team as required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR
  • Compile and keep updated an overview of the various benefits and employee terms and conditions
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual INFPC file
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team members
  • Support the HR team with ad-hoc tasks and duties as required from time to time
  • Skills and Experience Specification :

  • The ideal intern will be a last year student in HR or relative filed having to perform an academic internship OR already qualified to degree level (Bachelor / Master) and looking for a practical internship within the 12 months following graduation
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills in French and English
  • Good organization and prioritization skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and a pride in accuracy
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Good IT skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
