We are seeking a Financial Analyst to help lead and oversee critical functions within this rapidly growing organization.
This Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for business partnering, decision support, financial modeling, controllership and operations cost reduction supporting the Middle mile Line Haul operations.
This person will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to provide timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership to this high-growth organization.
This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various retail, transportation, and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and help to optimize the total fulfillment cost of every unit delivered.
This role has regular interaction with various business leaders so strong communication and interpersonal skills are a prerequisite.
The Financial Analyst will also lead variance analysis for monthly / quarterly business reviews as well as execute ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias 5+ years’ relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting,variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results Ability to perform complex analysis and simplify its communication Diving deep to understand and question business processes and how they affect financials and accounting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots etc.
Fluent in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA from a renowned Business school Good working knowledge of SQL and analytical tools such as Power BI / Tableau is preferred Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
