Amazon Web Services Public Sector seeks a passionate, results-oriented program manager to support our international expansion through the identification, evaluation, and removal of key blockers (e.

g., security compliance, procurement, policy) to the business. You will create repeatable mechanism (e.g., data, process, technology) to enable country teams to find self-

service, repeatable solutions to these common blockers.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Identify new / systemic blockers from sales leader and expansion program managers

Research the internal teams that could be required to assist in a response

Develop a written narrative to explain the blocker and its business impact

Identify existing processes and resources to overcome the blocker; propose new ones if needed

Create new mechanisms to improve the quality and pace of our business expansions internationally

Support business mission trips globally

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in project management, internal consulting, process improvement, international expansion, international projects, or compliance program management

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Public sector experience

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to work seamlessly across multiple teams

Capacity to operate autonomously, with little to no guidance in highly flexible and ambiguous environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in business-related field, law, or contracting

Management Consulting experience

Proficiency in BI tools, like Tableau

Fluency in English with the ability to read / write in one other European Language
