Amazon Devices is looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed, analytical, and results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager to own sales and marketing strategies for Kindle devices in Europe.
In this highly visible, you will manage a multi-year sales and marketing strategy to grow Amazon Kindle business in Europe, working closely with global and local sales, finance, demand planning, in-stock, site merchandising and retail partner teams across Amazon.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive online marketing experience, be able to analyze forecasting and sales data to propose marketing initiatives, and have experience of driving demand for a business or category.
You must be comfortable working at the strategic level as well as have the ability to dive deep into implementation as needed (including managing campaigns, writing business reviews and analyzing data).
You will show hustle, take ownership and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture. You will obsess over our customers, proposing and implementing initiatives that both help readers discover Kindle for the first time as well as make Kindle devices even easier and more fun to use.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter, who is comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Key job responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for the demand forecast, demand generation, promotional planning and execution, inventory management, and sales analytics for Kindle devices in online and offline channels with cross-functional teams, including finance, demand planning, in-stock, site merchandising and retail partner teams across Amazon.
Operate both strategically and tactically with a proven track record of thinking big to drive new opportunities, diving deep in data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your products and with colleagues across Amazon.
Perform complex analysis, create regular business driving documents to surface key insights and recommendations to the Amazon Devices leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree is required
Significant experience in successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
A proven idea generator and builder, with a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences and strong, measurable results
Prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively
Be comfortable in getting hands dirty to get things done
High attention to detail and able to work through ambiguity
Proven ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities
Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations. Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams
Strong, clear and persuasive oral and written communication skills with experience communicating with senior leadership teams
