As the successful candidate, you will join the Security, Reasoning and Validation (SeRVal) group of the SnT, headed by Prof.
Yves Le Traon. You will contribute more specifically to the STELLAR project, funded by Luxembourg National Research Fund.
The topic of the project is Testing Machine Learning Models and Self-Learning Systems and concerns the definition and the measurement of test adequacy criteria in such systems, the selection and generation of test inputs, as well as the design of mechanisms to identify issues and help securing the use of machine learning models / systems.
The STELLAR project includes two ongoing PhD theses. In addition to carry out your own research autonomously, you will provide support to the two PhD students and share the research directions of the project.
More generally, you will join a team of 15 persons (including 10 PhD students) and are expected to contribute to the group’s research activities and to the training of the students.
You will also participate to scientific dissemination activities (publication in top journals / conferences, presentation at scientific events, organizing workshops ) and to drafting research proposals and project deliverables.
