ABOUT THE JOB The Test Officer is part of the Technology and Projects Department and is responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of tests to ensure that implemented functionalities meet business requirements and user expectations.
The Test Officer will be responsible for the following activities : - Design, develop, plan and implement test strategies covering various applications -
Review and analyse business requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria - Generate high and low level test cases covering specific business requirements -
Prepare test data for test execution - Establish a database for regression tests - Execute manual and automated functional tests or automation tests to ensure specific quality levels with regards to business requirements -
Support integration testing activities of system components in the cross-functional team - Document test executions and test results from different test environments -
Document and report all identified quality issues and defects - Generate test progress reports and ensure proper communication towards the Project Manager, Business Analysts and the involved departments -
Organise and conduct demo sessions - Support departments during User Acceptance Tests - Support the Test Manager in the improvement of the QA / Test Procedure ABOUT YOU -
Bachelor or Master degree in an IT related field of study - Work experience in functional or automation software testing -
Practical experience with test management tools and frameworks (e.g. Robot framework, SOAP UI) - Knowledge of functional testing and of test automation for APIs / web services or web applications -
Experience with agile software development processes and techniques - Experience in integration testing of system components, as well as system integration testing is a plus -
Experience in the credit card business or payment industry is also a plus WHAT WE EXPECT - A results-driven and service-
