Business Risk Manager BRM International Europe Market

The mission

As a BRM, it is expected that you anticipate on the risk issues and that you play an important role in the change towards a more sustainable day to day management of the risks.

Responsible for the first line of defense (level 1B) within the market.

Responsible for implementing and managing corrective actions to address any weakness in the control setup.

Executing internal controls in line with the procedures and guidelines in place.

Close collaboration with the Front Office as well as with Control Functions such as Compliance, Legal, Tax and Risk.

Main tasks

SPOC for all risk related issues (KYC, AML / FT, Sanctions & Embargoes) within the market.

Ensuring a permanent and constructive exchange with the key risk functions of the Bank Compliance, Legal, Tax and Risk.

Participating in preparing the answers to internal and external control bodies (Inspection Générale, CSSF, CRF).

Executing and reshaping daily business controls.

Helping the business in ensuring the Compliance of clients files.

Producing KPIs on risks related matters for the management and the front office teams.

Giving regular feedback to the Market Manager on all risk related issues.

Being a source of information in the expression of evolution needs in terms of tools, process and business model in order to improve business efficiency

Raise awareness on the importance of the first level of control.

Your profile

Ability to communicate with the different stakeholders

Ability to look and facilitate for solutions

Ability to put in place an action plan and deliver a result

Ability to identify (new) risk without compromising Business development and customer relations

Analytical skills, being rigorous and meticulous

Ability to simplify things (making understandable) that are complex

Ability to lead a meeting or training

Languages :

French Fluent

English Fluent
