Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager for its Amazon Transportation Business (ATS). As a program manager, you will be joining the ATS Strategic Network Design team and be responsible for the design of long term network design.
You will help to develop a best in class middle mile strategy for ground line-haul and sortation, designing and implementing an integrated network that maximizes service value proposition and minimizes costs.
Key responsibilities as Senior Program Manager :
Creating network topology and capacity plans to meet demand, reduce cost and improve speed
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stakeholders
Coordinate senior stakeholders to sync monthly execution to planning
Defining the network configuration of lanes, nodes and timings, working with stakeholders across the Transportation organization
Write and review strategic documents to update senior leadership on the progress of network topology implementation
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering or Business Administration, or a similar related discipline
5+ years of experience managing highly complex and ambiguous projects requiring strong analytics, fast business judgment and ability to align with stakeholders
Ability to develop creative and scalable solutions independently, and drive them from ideation to successful completion (results oriented)
Strong analytical skills
Advanced Excel knowledge
Strong oral and written communication skills - able to communicate effectively with senior management, tech teams and international / multicultural stakeholders
Business fluency in English
5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics
Experience of Planning Tools and systems (e.g. for network optimization, inventory management etc.)
Proficiency in SQL / Tableau
Scripting languages a plus
