As Head of Operations for EMEA, you will act as an overseer and guide for all teams within the company. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the management of the reporting and KPI’s of the teams, the introduction, organisation, and motivation of talent, while also playing a key role in expanding the business.

You will also establish policies that promote company culture and vision. The below tasks further elaborate your goals :

  • Provide technical and procedural support to all EMEA offices on matters of Fund Services, Corporate Accounting, Depositary Services, Compliance, Legal, and Transfer Pricing teams with respect to accounting standards, fund administration, tax structuring, Liquidation Services;
  • Evaluate business procedure efficiency in light of organizational objectives and apply improvements;
  • Review financial information and create / reforecast operational budgets to promote profitability;
  • Communicate and report to the COO and EMEA Regional Executive;
  • Providing commentary, approval and / or analysis on billable hours, budget variance & write-offs;
  • Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus and service and integrity;
  • Maintain a positive work environment to attract, retain and motivate employees at all levels by promoting communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and problem resolution;
  • Coordinates with human resources department on staff recruitment and retention;
  • Provides mentoring to all employees and encourage continuous professional development, motivate them to maximise efficiency, performance to meet / surpass organisational goals;
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Country Executives on medium to longer term plans for corporate growth and evolution;
  • Work with EMEA Country Executives, Segment Heads and the International Sales team in preparing and presenting client pitches and fee proposals;
  • Within the EMEA region : coordinate local Heads of Operations, guarantee consistency of our processes and services, outlook cross-boarder deliveries;
  • Participate in expansion activities such as the integration of newly acquired business and personnel;
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Proven extensive experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position;
  • Strong academic background within a relevant field;
  • You are either a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) or Chartered Secretary (ICSA);
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities;
  • Outstanding communication and people skills;
  • Strong knowledge of the Alternative Investment industry’s legal rules and guidelines;
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business, functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.);
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance / operation metrics;
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM).
