This is a newly created role to support a team of two experienced lawyers dedicated to managing the European entities of this established international banking and fund administration company.

As a Vice President, you will play a key role in providing legal counsel to business stakeholders and the executive management in Europe.

Your legal and negotiation skills will be highly appreciated in the negotiations managed at European level, in the management of regulatory matters in Europe, and in the advice provided to the Executive and Management Committee at the European headquarter.

Your Responsibilities

Review and negotiate asset servicing contracts, agreements, and legal documentations

Ensure previous agreements, contracts and documentation meet the current regulatory requirements and company's risk parameters.

Support the business and compliance team with your legal expertise on regulatory matters, cross-border licensing issues, and new products or services being offered.

Manage ad hoc requests from the various departments related to regulatory matters, internal audit, corporate governance, policies, and procedures

Collaborate when necessary with the external counsel

Take an active part in global projects, forums, and committees as a legal expert

Your Profile

Legal degree completed with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the funds industry in Luxembourg

Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework in connection with the provision of banking, fund administration, and depositary services in Luxembourg

Excellent contract negotiation skills across a range of fund products and services

Experience with the launch of Ucits and AIF funds in Europe

Team player, assertive, organised, autonomous with a strong commercial sense.
