Within the framework of our Luxembourg based activities, we are recruiting an :

Intern Legal Department (m / f)

Your responsibilities

Assist the members of the Legal Department in the review and execution of various legal documents / agreements

Assist the members of the Legal Department in various paralegal and corporate secretariat tasks (original documents, scans, database management, etc.)

Prepare legal memoranda and perform legal researches

Assist in the setting up of investment funds domiciled in several jurisdictions (Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman Islands)

Assist in assessing the legal risks faced by the Bank in its various activities (fund business, securities agency business, custody business, financial markets dealing, etc.)

Education

Minimum Bachelor in Law, Banking or Economics, or equivalent experience

Experience

At least three years of studies in Law, Business, Finance or similar fields

Knowledge / Personal skills

Knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory framework is an asset

Knowledge of Luxembourg, French or Belgian law

Knowledge of banking organization in general

Well organized

High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Willingness to learn

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools with a specific focus on Word and

Powerpoint

Ability to multitask and to work in a team

Languages

Fluent in English and in French

IT skills

Good knowledge of MS Office tools such as, Word, Powerpoint

Criminal record : This position may require a condition of a good repute. The law on

the financial sector provides that the good repute of a candidate shall be assessed on

the basis of (i) criminal records and (ii) any evidence tending to show that the

candidate is of good repute and offering every guarantee of irreproachable

conduct. Eventually the candidate’s name will also be screened through our name

screening tool which imports, respectively, the latest versions of the World-Check

blacklists, and runs an automated screening process of all names.
