As VAT Program Manager, EU Marketplace, you will lead a work stream to manage a complex regulatory change called Deemed Reseller that will occur in EU in 2021.
Deemed Reseller affects over half million of our non EU SPs and is a historic change in the way taxes will be collected and remitted for online marketplaces in the future.
You will have a wide ranging scope and application to understand product development, policy study, strategy, customer and selling partner incentives and mindsets.
As a VAT Program Manager, you will be overseeing the strategy planning and execution of the program including building metrics to measure and track customer and seller reactions, feedback and corrective action plans.
You will be supported by a team of on-ground associates across multiple geographies to execute your plan. Over the period of time, you will be responsible for create concrete actions to improve our customer and selling experience in light of the new legislative changes.
You should be comfortable working in highly ambiguous environment. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of working with projects to their completion.

The key responsibilities for this role include :
Build strategy and metrics for tracking launch performance
Drive operational excellence by setting clear direction and expectations for performance. Establish performance targets for operation teams and measure actual performance with regard to Customer Service support and quality, Team efficiency and Cost.
Take appropriate and timely corrective action if negative trends begin to emerge.
Provide leadership direction on process improvements, address obstacles and interact with other areas of the company to assist team in overcoming problems and streamlining the work process as part of a structured continuous improvement program.
Measure Improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objective
Coordinate and prioritize a new work requests coming to operation team(s), establish intake and prioritization process
Conduct regular meetings with team(s) to triage issues and drive process, product and policy improvements.
Assist in interviewing and recruiting candidates.
