Responsible for driving quality and champion defect prevention / early defect detection in the non functional areas
Responsible for using business analysis and business usage metrics to drive non functional testing activities
Responsible for non-functional test case creation and execution, maximizing automation (Medium / High complexity)
Provide feedback to development teams on quality of deliverables
Accountable for driving the development of production work load models and overseeing test environments requirements and solutions scaled to run close to prod’ performance tests
Responsible for reviewing nonfunctional requirements and development activities to ensure full understanding of the scope of work and optimal ways to validate solutions
Responsible for creating and maximizing automation for all project nonfunctional deliverables
Responsible for following defined QE processes and tools usage and intent
Responsible for following agreed upon processes for test results storage, defect tracking and defect verification and supporting project metrics tracking
Partners across IT and with assigned business lines to test new or existing software in order to ensure nonfunctional requirements are met
Responsible for coaching and mentoring junior resources
Significant contribution to project / program test strategies and plans in the area of nonfunctional testing activities
Experience with defining Performance Test strategy and Performance test approach Experience in performance test case design and analysis of results at different levels, security testing and other types on non functional testing
Experience developing production work load models and coordinate test environments scaled to run close to prod’ performance tests
Experience with Diagnostics processes and tool such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics in non-production environment to diagnose performance bottlenecks early during delivery life cycle
Experience with Network virtualization for Performance testing
Hands on expertise in a variety of performance test frameworks / tools (e.g., HP LoadRunner, JMeter, etc.), monitoring tools (e.
g., Dynatrace) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.)
Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, C, SQL DB querying) and source configuration tools (Git, SVN, MKS, etc.)
Experience in a QA / test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (distributed, cloud and mainframe, business workflows and services / apis, databases)
Very good communication skills
Ability to focus and prioritize and solve complex technical problems
Experience working with software delivery methodologies, frameworks and best practices Agile and Waterfall
Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree / diploma
Strong verbal and communication skills in English
ISTQB Certification is an asset
