Position : Administrative Officer Duration : Fulltime (permanent position for up to 39 hours per week) TheAdministrative Officer will be employed by one or more or each ofCheyne Real Estate Credit (CRECH) IV Loans S.

Reporting to the Board ofManagers of each Company, the Administrative Officer will beresponsible for the operational support of the following items : You will become part of a team which includes investmentmanagers, lawyers, accountants and secretarial support that assistin managing a portfolio of investments structured through ourLuxembourg office.

  • Your responsibilities will include : Managing andmaintaining a portfolio of real estate debt and debt investments;Assisting with completion of the required KYC on the investments,liaising with the investment manager and the fund administrator toensure consistent, efficient and timely completion;
  • Organising andsupporting of periodical board meetings, including preparations ofnecessary board agenda, minutes and routine / standard ancillarydocuments;
  • Administration of funding instruments and loans,Including assisting with and taking responsibility for the draftingof intra-company funding instruments (to facilitate the movement offunds between entities in order to fund private credit investments)Convening AGMs and preparation and filing of documents, resolutionsand minutes of meetings;
  • Maintain statutory records; Liaising withvarious departments of Cheyne, including the Real Estate Debt andthe Strategic Value Credit desks, fund accounting, middle office,legal and compliance, and the Company’s external service providers;
  • and Performing cash reconciliations of the main bank accounts andall the compartments, and understanding why there are cash balancesin any of the compartments (e.

    g. for imminent funding to deals, orreserved for invoices, etc.). The Candidate : Shouldbe fluent in English to a suitable financial professional standardShould be experienced in preparing Board reporting Should ideallypossess a minimum of 5 years financial administration experienceAbility to organize and prioritize work with minimum supervisionwith a flexible and proactive attitude.

    Ability to meet urgentdeadlines Previous experience (co-) managing a local office will beadvantageous Previous experience in dealing with real estatelending and / or debt investments will be advantageous Please note that the job description outlines responsibilitiesrelated to the stated position.
