    Department purpose

    Our Finance department in Luxembourg is currently looking for a Gestionnaire de facturation clients / Billing Officer (m / f).

    Role purpose

    The main responsibilities of this role is managing the firm's billing and revenue function and assisting the firm to achieve its financial targets by providing an efficient and focused service throughout the firm.

    Keyrelationships

    As a Billing Officer being part of a team of experienced billing officers, you will work in close collaboration with a specified group of partners and fee earners, allowing you to build robust relationships.

    You will report to the Director of the Finance department.

    Role and responsibilities

  • Preparing and coordinating the client billing process to ensure time is accurately charged and allocated
  • Checking bills thoroughly and in accordance with the standard operating procedure before sending to partners and clients (controlling client budgets and agreements)
  • Processing and following-up on e-billing with the dedicated team
  • Ensuring bills are rendered on time and accurately
  • Delivering monthly reports
  • Liaising with collection team
  • Dealing with all internal and external queries relating to billing matters
  • Key requirements

  • Excellent communicator who engages with others and works effectively in a team
  • Able to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very good organisation and sense of initiative
  • Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance or any administrative relevant fields
  • Fluent in English and French; German will be considered as an asset
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills
  • Proven experience within a Billing function in a legal environment would be beneficial
  • Good knowledge of the VAT legislation will be an asset.
