Our international client is looking for a head of Luxembourg.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for overseeing daily operational and compliance matters for a corporate services provider with a diverse range of clients, including Luxembourg domiciled companies established as special purpose vehicles to participate in capital market transactions.
Primary Responsibilities The successful candidate will have the following specific responsibilities : Support the development, implementation and management of the company’s policies, controls and procedures;
Manage the onboarding process for new clients; Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients; Source new business opportunities for the company, including attendance at and / or the organisation of conferences and introductory meetings;
Negotiation of commercial terms with clients; Act as a key point of contact for banks, authorities and third parties; Maintain and develop a culture focused on high quality client services delivery;
Assist clients to ensure that they are in full compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including filing obligations, in Luxembourg;
Assist with the monitoring, interpretation and analysis of existing and prospective legislation which may impact on the company’s business and / or clients;
and Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis.
Requirements 10+ years’ experience within an international law, accounting or corporate firm; Must be fluent in English, ability to also speak French and / or German is a distinct advantage;
Strong Luxembourgish network; Superb organisational and execution skills with a high level of attention to detail; Highly proactive, able to work autonomously, make decisions and use own initiative and judgment;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a bright and positive outlook; Proactive and sales driven attitude; Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment with strong management and relationship skills;
and Ability to combine a commitment to quality and the management of business risks with the ability to take initiative.
