this is the job

Own and manage the Shop, Shop Management and Academy recruitment activity including advertisement, interviews, discovery days, offers, references and onboarding

Responsible for data reporting on weekly resourcing KPIs

Identify opportunities to ensure attraction is at an optimum for web-based and drop in candidates

Identify opportunities for improvement in our resourcing process to ensure that applicants have a positive experience with the itsu recruitment process.

Monitor and review the retention rate of new joiners and identify retention opportunities

Keep up to date with recruitment trends

Ensure the itsu resourcing process is always compliant with employment law

Proactively seek the best talent in the industry through constant networking and connecting

Work closely with the People Partners and Operations Managers to manage recruitment needs

Ad hoc recruitment projects

Proactively promote our Employer Brand (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Events)

Use LinkedIn Recruiter Tool to search and reach out to prospective candidates

Find new cost effective advertising opportunities

Collaborate with hiring managers on their active academy vacancies

Lead agency briefings for key roles / challenging vacancies

Manage speculative applications in a professional way that maintains the reputation of the company and builds a talent pipeline

this is you

You have minimum 2 years of in house recruitment experience, ideally having worked with full process from advertising the role to onboarding

You are flexible, proactive and have the ability to build great relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally

You generate new ideas and always look for better ways of doing things

You are used to work with an Applicant Tracking System, LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards

You engage and encourage your colleagues and act as an ambassador for the People function

You are proactive and creative, but you balance this with great commercial acumen and knowledge of the competitive external market

You are resourceful and purposeful, with initiative, drive and a strong desire to deliver exceptional results

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong influencing skills with the ability to influence, encourage and persuade

Clear and demonstrable achievements in the recruitment industry, preferably in retail or hospitality

Experience of developing and nurturing candidate relationships, advocating and promoting the company and brand
