We have an excellent opportunity to join a Super Manco as the Conducting Officer responsible for Risk Management. Together with the other Conducting Officer, you will oversee the governance of the ManCo and be the main contact with the CSSF.
Working with the MD, you will manage and develop colleagues in the company whilst driving forward the risk management strategy.
You will be an integral part of the Risk and Control function, both on daily BAU and on project work. The client has a mixed portfolio of UCITS and AIFs, (mainly hedge funds, equities, futures), and knowledge of both fund classes will be an asset.
In this role, your responsibilities will include : All statutory Conducting Officer duties Ensuring full compliance with regulatory risk requirements, develop and oversee the risk management function Review risk calculations and resolve or escalate breaches Carry out risk control assessments and testing Maintain business risk frameworks as they pertain to the group’s business lines (investment compliance, capital monitoring, financial control) Work with portfolio managers to ensure they understand internal risk measures Work across departments to ensure adherence and continuous improvement where required Contribute to relevant aspects of the conducting officer and Board reviews Act as a subject matter expert for all risk and control challenges Work with the M.
D. on all 3rd party provider due diligence reviews, site visits, etc. To be eligible for this position, you will need : Current or prior approval as a Conducting Officer for Risk A solid understanding of the interaction between risk and compliance, and a general understanding of the compliance framework.
Excellent English language skills A minimum of 10 years of experience working in risk, with prior experience in a ManCo environment, preferably in Luxembourg.
